Deadline have recently had some changes to our Overnight service that we would like to keep you updated with.
Firstly, here at Deadline we pride ourselves on offering our customers a personalised and specialist service, and our Overnight service is no exception.
Over the past 12 months the guidelines for sending goods through the national Overnight systems have been tightened.
All freight must now be boxed or contained in a courier bag.
Any freight received that is not boxed or bagged will be classified as “non-conveyable” and attract additional costs and surcharges along with a minimum of 24-hour delay to delivery.
However, here at Deadline we have a solution for our customers!
We can now offer a re-packing service at a cost of £5.00 per item.
Just let us know at the time of the booking that you would like this extra service and we will sort out the rest.
Secondly, as of April 2022 we have increased the charge for all failed third party overnight collections; the charge will now be £23.00 + vat.
The increase has been implemented due to our third party suppliers increasing their charges to us for failed collections.
